Let me introduce myself.

I’m Alex Morabito, a Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne based Wedding Planner, Coordinator & Stylist.

My path into Weddings has been shaped by time spent behind the scenes - in hospitality, venue management and event operations. I’ve gotten to learn firsthand how weddings function in real environments, under real conditions and pressures. For more than a decade I’ve worked across events of all scales, developing a deep respect for preparation, process and the people involved in delivering them.

I have spent the most part in my career with The Epicurean Group, mentored by Craig & Leah Regan - managing a portfolio of over 200 Weddings and Events across multiple hospitality venues in the calendar year. My hospitality background influences how I plan today - grounding every decision in structure, collaboration, the guest experience and a clear understanding of how a wedding actually unfolds.

Working now with Ever After Effect as the in-house Wedding Planner and Coordinator, it allows me to remain deeply connected to the operational side of weddings - from the food, the wine and timelines to guest flow and on-the-day coordination, Ever After Effect also allows the ability to provide end to end support to couples through planning and styling to create something truely special for them.

Planning grounded in experience.

While weddings are often discussed through aesthetics and instagram trends, the reality is that successful weddings are built on preparation, timing and clear communication - not Pinterest boards.

My background allows me to offer couples support backed by a practical understanding of:

  • how venues operate day to day

  • how timelines behave under pressure

  • how suppliers work best when expectations are clear

  • how early decisions shape the overall experience

Having worked from both the venue side and the planning side, I find that I am able to anticipate challenges early and guide couples through decisions calmly and confidently, without unnecessary urgency or stress.

A considered approach to styling.

Alongside logistics, I’ve always been drawn to styling (I worked in a homewares store before weddings). I love the creativity of shaping atmosphere, decorating spaces and creating visual cohesion across an event.

For me, styling shouldn’t be treated as an afterthought, but as part of the planning process itself - considering each element from stationary to scent, to lighting and linen but also how they all work together in relation to the space and the entire event experience.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula, working across Melbourne and Europe.

I grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne and am so proud to work within and advocate for regional Victorian destinations, as well as stunning International locations too.

Italy holds particular significance for me, both professionally and personally. With my heritage rooted in Europe and family connection to Italian culture and hospitality, planning destination weddings there feel like a homecoming and honouring of my family history.

Planning internationally definitely requires a different skill set, cultural awareness and the ability to coordinate teams across locations, languages and time zones - it’s a process I love to approach with structure, experience, leadership and excitement!

What couples can expect when working with me.

Couples who work with me are often looking for reassurance and a experienced hand to guide them. You can expect that every detail is considered, yet allowed to unfold seamlessly, organically and even better than expected.
